The Hero’s Quest (“THQ,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a nonprofit after-school program. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you enroll in our programs, volunteer with us, or communicate with us, including by text message (SMS).

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly: parent/guardian name, child’s name and grade, email address, mobile phone number, school, emergency contacts, allergies, and similar program information needed to run our after-school sessions.

How We Use Information

We use your information to process enrollment, run and staff sessions, send program communications (confirmations, reminders, roster and schedule updates, and occasional announcements), and respond to your requests.

Text Messaging (SMS)

If you opt in to receive text messages from The Hero’s Quest, we use your mobile number only to send program-related messages such as enrollment confirmations, session reminders, day-of check-ins, and schedule updates.

No mobile information (your phone number or your consent to receive SMS) will be sold, rented, or shared with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data is not shared with any third parties.

How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers who help us operate the program (for example, our enrollment and messaging platforms), and only as needed to provide those services, or when required by law.

Children’s Privacy

Program information about children is provided by a parent or guardian and is used solely to deliver the program safely.

Data Retention & Security

We retain information for as long as needed to operate the program and meet legal obligations, and we use reasonable safeguards to protect it.

Your Choices

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information, and you may opt out of text messages at any time (reply STOP).
